Piriformis

What You Stretch:  Muscles (piriformis) that lie underneath the big muscles (gluteus maximus) in the buttocks, low back rotators and external hip rotators

What You Contract:  Lower abdominals, hip rotators and adductors, and muscles from the front of the hips down the front of the thighs (hip flexors-including the quadriceps)

How Many Repetitions:  10 each side

How Long to Hold:  2 seconds
